Established in 1960, Mechanical Engineering Industries was founded by Shri Nand Kishore Jalan, And is currently managed by his son Pradip Jalan and grandson Chetan Jalan. That's 3 generation dedicating their lifes to iron and steel.

Mechanical Engineering Industries is the Official Distributor of SAIL. Established in 1960, the Mechanical group is a brand name in India's iron and steel industry. Moving around 1,00,000 tons of steel per year, we are a one-stop solution for all your Iron & steel requirments. Being a stockist, we have a ready-stock of over 7,000 tons, combining all long and flat products like: Angle/channel/beam/plates/coils/HR/Rounds/flats; delivering PAN India. Dedidated to supplying the best quality and quantity as per your customised needs through our value added services like: cut-to-length, binding, pacakging etc. Our state-of-the-art infrastructure set-up across our 5 warehouses has a capacity of loading and delivering over 1,000 tons per day. Currently we are one the largest customers of SAIL, having one of the highest offtakes in Eastern India. We deal in Mild Steel products of SAIL of both Long and Flat Category.
